The Parade of Lights goes tonight in Halifax and that means road closures.
It starts at 6p.m. but road closures will start around 5:30p.m.
The parade will travel from Upper Water Street, then south along Barrington Street, west on Spring Garden Road, south on South Park Street and west along University Avenue.
Police encourage anyone planning to attend to consider using public transportation or carpooling to reduce the amount of traffic downtown.
Also, a reminder there’s no parking along the parade route and vehicles in violation will be ticketed and possibly towed.
