It’s Dartmouth’s turn to turn on the lights for Christmas.
The Dartmouth Christmas tree lighting goes this evening at Sullivan’s Pond starting at 4:30 p.m.
There will be an LED light exchange, poetry, a choir, fireworks and the always popular Razzmatazz.
After the tree is lit, there will be a candle lit procession down Ochterloney Street.
Crichton Avenue between Prince Albert Road and Dahlia Street will be closed from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. to accommodate the large number of people expected to attend the event.
