‘Anonymous’ group identifies alleged rapists

The online hacker group by the name of ‘Anonymous’ says it has confirmed the identities of two of the four alleged rapists in the Rehtaeh Parsons case.

The group says they are keeping the names to themselves, waiting for RCMP to take action on charges.

Anonymous has been involved in similar cases of sexual assault before, including the Steubenville, Ohio case which resulted in the conviction of two high school teens.

RCMP say the four boys involved in the current investigation are still minors, and they are concerned what could happen if the names are released.
