Fatal crash on Highway 103

A man is dead after a two-vehicle collision on the South Shore on Sunday morning.
RCMP Sgt. Alain LeBlanc confirms a man, believed to be in his forties, died following the crash between a Honda Civic and an 18-wheeler near Martins River, N.S.
LeBlanc said the incident happened at 7:45 a.m. on Highway 103 between exits 9 and 10. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was treated at the scene by Emergency Health Services and released.
The highway was shut down in both directions for several hours.
