Shack fire raises smoke over Burnside

A shack in the woods that was home to a man calling himself “Snowman” burned in Burnside on Thursday morning.
Firefighters were joined by police and crews from DND off Mosher Drive in Dartmouth after an explosion.
The military has sent in an explosives removal crew to check for further ordnance.
A man who says he’s lived in the woods for 15 years told reporters he was having breakfast when he thinks a candle in his shack led to an explosion and fire.
