Some beaches reopen, while spray pools are closed

Some beaches that were originally closed in HRM have reopened this weekend.

Sandy Lake beach in Bedford, Albro Lake beach in Dartmouth, Black Rock and Dingle beaches in Halifax have reopened for swimming now that bacteria levels are down.

Meanwhile, Long Pond Beach and Kinsmen Beach are still closed due to high bacteria levels. Also closed this weekend is all the spray pools in HRM while work is being done at the Pockwock water shed.
