HMCS Toronto crew members return to Halifax

Family and crew from HMCS Toronto will be reunited tonight at Halifax International Airport after a six month deployment.
The flight arrives at 7:15p.m.
Captain Tyrone Grande says a third of the crew that’s been serving on the ship in the Arabian Sea will be greeted by their families at the Esso Avitat building.
“It’ll be a quick transition from the airport hopefully, through customs, to the arms of their families members at it will give the crew members a well-deserved chance to finally rest, relax a little bit and see their families.
The crew returning home has been deployed on Operation Artemis, Canada’s contribution to counter terrorism in the Arabian Sea.
The first batch of replacement crew was sent out to meet the ship earlier this week.
