Eskasoni man charged with attempted murder

A 31-year-old Eskasoni man has been charged with attempted murder.

RCMP say they were called to a complaint of a serious assault Thursday night, and found two men were fighting in a home. Terrance Levi Poulette has also been charged with aggravated assault, failure to comply with a probation order, and failing to comply with a recognizance.

Poulette has been remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Center and will appear in Provincial court in Sydney Monday morning.
