Fire damages Dartmouth apartment building

Four people are temporarily homeless after a fire damaged two apartment units near downtown Dartmouth.
The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze at 55 Tulip Street broke out early Saturday afternoon. Twelve adults live in the older two-storey, six-unit building, most of them were allowed back once the fire was extinguished and smoke was ventilated.
No word yet on what caused the blaze and there are no reports of injuries.
