Controversial musician Chris Brown will headline the Hot Summer Blast Festival in Saint John, New Brunswick on September 1st at Harbour Station.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing an artist of Chris Brown’s calibre to Saint John,” says Drop Entertainment Group owner, Stephen Tobin. “Chris is amazingly talented and with his new album set to be released this summer, he is extremely excited to be coming to the Maritimes. Fans in New Brunswick can be sure he’s going to put on a world class performance”.
Brown’s Dartmouth concert announcement for Alderney Landing faced public backlash resulting in some companies pulling their sponsorship from the show.
Fundraising events in support of domestic violence victims will be held in both Halifax and Winnipeg in protest of Brown’s shows in those cities.
Yesterday, Brown’s lawyer entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf in a hit-and-run case against the singer.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.
