Fatal crash between car and maritime coach bus

A man is dead after a car and a Maritime Bus collided on a New Brunswick highway around 5:20 Friday evening.
Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP say the accident occurred on Highway 7 near Petersville, about halfway between Saint John and Fredericton. The driver of the car died on scene while three of the nine bus passengers were treated for minor injuries.
No word yet on what caused the crash, but RCMP say there was heavy rain at the time. Speed and alcohol have been ruled out. RCMP are still investigating.
