Nova Scotia Power parent company Emera has released it’s second quarter earnings.
They’re up to $167 million, or $1.27 per share, in comparison to $133 million year over year.
Nova Scotia Power’s net income was $18.5 million in the second quarter, an increase of more than $2 million.
Emera says NSP’s bottom line was positively impacted by increased electric margin across it’s customer base.
The company says NSP’s full earnings for the year however, are expected to be consistent with 2012.
