Wallin says audit “flawed and unfair”

We’ll find out today what an independent audit has turned up regarding nearly four years of travel expenses of Senator Pamela Wallin.
But Wallin is calling the Deloitte audit “fundamentally flawed and unfair.”
She alleges Deloitte wrongly used new 2012 rules governing Senate travel and expenses to assess the validity of claims dating back to 2009.
Sources say the audit concludes Wallin should repay $121,000 in travel expenses, and adds another $21,000 in claims need to be examined.
Wallin says she will repay any expenses a Senate committee disallows.
