Pump prices expected to fall by a penny overnight

Filling up the gas tank should cost a bit less Friday morning.
News 95.7 is predicting a drop of about a penny a litre when prices are reset across the province at midnight.
Dan McTeague with tomorrowsgaspricetoday.com says this could be the last drop we see in awhile.
“If you’re going to buy gas wait until Friday and gas up during the week, but the following week you may want to be very cautious as we head into the long weekend,” said McTeague. “It looks like this week, markets are doing a u-turn and by next week you’ll be seeing a two to three cent a litre increase.”
The price of gas in New Brunswick is down for the third time in the past four weeks.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board lowered the maximum price for regular self-serve by two cents per litre to $132.1, with most stations now selling in the $1.28 to $1.29 range.
Diesel fell by 2.3 cents per litre, with propane remaining virtually the same.
