GuestLogix to provide transaction processing services for Wideroe airline

TORONTO – GuestLogix Inc. (TSX:GXI) will provide transaction processing services for inflight food and drink for Norwegian airline Wideroe as part of a multi-year deal.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed in Wednesday announcement.

GuestLogix says its technology will be used across Wideroe’s entire fleet and will allow for secure credit card transactions onboard.

Wideroe will also have the option to expand its onboard retail offerings to include destination-based merchandise.

Wideroe operates over 400 flights a day and flies to 47 domestic and international destinations.

Toronto-based GuestLogix offers transaction processing services to airlines, rail operators and the passenger travel industry.
