More search warrants in the Richard Oland murder investigation released

(Saint John)-More search warrants in the Richard Oland murder investigation have been released today.

The new documents reveal a woman by the name of Barbara Murray, told police she and her husband were sitting in their van overlooking Renforth wharf on the evening of July 6, 2011, when she noticed a well-dressed man walking briskly towards the wharf  whom she later identified as Richard Oland’s son, Dennis

Murray  told police the man stopped and picked something up, then walked to the end of the wharf, sat down, took something red out of a bag he was carrying and wrapped the object he had picked up.

He then put it in the bag and walked briskly back.

The waters around the wharf were searched by divers, but the warrants state that nothing suspicious was located.

Court documents that have already been unsealed reveal that Dennis Oland is the prime suspect in the investigation
