Man mugged, cut in Point Pleasant Park

A man was threatened with a broken bottle and robbed while walking in Point Pleasant Park last night.

Police say the 21-year-old was on the main path off the Tower Road entrance around 10 p.m. when he was approached by two men.

They demanded his wallet and he ended up with a cut to his hand and a scratch on his face from the bottle.

The K9 unit was unable to locate the suspects.

Police only have a limited description of the suspects because it was dark.
