We Day is coming to Atlantic Canada for the first time ever, and bringing a line up of stars along with it.
Students are chosen to go to the event, and will have the luxury of seeing performers like Hedley and Classified.
A few famous speakers are scheduled to take part in the event as well, including Martin Sheen.
Founder Craig Kielburger tells News 95.7 in order to attend the party at the Metro Centre, students need to do activist work for two causes – one local – and one global.
“Students have gotten involved in a variety of different causes,” explained Kielburger. “To earn their way to the event, students have raised $37 million for a thousand different charities over the years.”
He adds the volunteer efforts are all coordinated by students to help others locally, nationally and internationally.
We Day stops in Halifax on November 27th.
