Stanley Cup in N.S. today

ANTIGONISH, N.S. – The Stanley Cup is coming to Nova Scotia today.

The coveted N-H-L trophy will be in Antigonish, where it will be showed off by Nova Scotia native Al MacIsaac, vice-president of the champion Chicago Blackhawks.

MacIsaac once played for the X-Men hockey club at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish.

There are two public viewings planned for the cup today.

It will be on display at the university’s Charles V. Keating Centre at 3 p.m., then at Pipers Pub downtown at 7 p.m.
