Police say death of 19-year-old teen not suspicious

The Integrated Major Crime Unit now says the death of a 19-year-old girl in Eastern Passage is not considered suspicious.

Police say Thursday night, just after 10 p.m., Cole Harbour RCMP responded to a call that a woman had died at a residence on Sandpiper Drive.

Earlier, police said the death was suspicious because it was not yet know how the girl died.

An autopsy was performed early Friday afternoon.

The girl’s name has not been released.
