Teen facing weapons charges

The Halifax Regional Police Emergency Response Team seized a loaded handgun early this morning after executing a search warrant in Dartmouth.

Officers descended on the Bareng Court residence around 1 a.m. and arrested an 18-year-old man on two oustanding warrants.

He’s facing several weapons charges.

He’s set to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court this morning.
