NSP’s electrical workers featured in local documentary

Nova Scotia Power’s electrical workers are being profiled in a locally produced documentary titled “On the Line.”

Clerisy Entertainment producer Dale Stevens says he wanted to know more about the people in the profession that’s relied on the most.

“They generally love equipment, tools and keeping their hands busy,” explained Stevens. “They’re also extremely thoughtful people. They really have to look at their job from an extremely safe perspective because it’s power, because it’s extremely dangerous.”

He says he approached Nova Scotia Power and was pleased when they gave him and his team the go ahead to follow around their crews.

The documentary premieres tonight at nine o’clock on Eastlink TV.
