Where the party leaders are this weekend

Nova Scotia’s political leaders are fanning out across the province today in their final sprint to the finish line before Tuesday’s vote.

NDP Premier Darrell Dexter is campaigning around Amherst before heading to seat-rich areas around Halifax. Liberal Leader Stephen McNeil will be making stops in Cape Breton, New Glasgow and Truro. And Tory Leader Jamie Baillie is doing the barbecue circuit in central Nova Scotia with Justice Minister Peter MacKay and country music singer George Canyon.

Advanced polls are open Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Polls are closed Sunday and Monday, but reopen for election day on Tuesday, October 8th.
