Man accused of attempted murder in Bedford stabbing

A man is charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at a Bedford strip mall.

Staff at Dooly’s, 1658 Bedford Highway, called police around midnight when a group of people started fighting in the parking lot.

A 29-year-old man was knifed several times but is doing well in hospital.

A 22-year-old Bedford man was held overnight and is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, weapons possession and three court order breaches.

He’ll be in court Friday.
