Stabbing suspect turns herself into police

Police have charged a woman following a stabbing that happened on Saturday in Dartmouth.

Officers responded to the assault on Windmill Road and found a 50-year-old man in the stairwell of an apartment building suffering from stab wounds and other injuries.

The suspect fled the scene before police got there.

Police say a 31-year-old woman turned herself into police headquarters on Tuesday morning.

She’s now facing numerous charges including aggravated assault and robbery.
