Clocks go back an hour Saturday night

You will get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night.

Daylight Savings time comes to and end at 2 AM Sunday morning, so set those clocks back an hour before you call it a night.
It happens twice a year every year. Atlantic Canadians will once again be searching out every time piece in the house to ensure that when they get up Sunday morning, they’ll be on time.

News 95.7’s Meteorologist Richard Zurowski said the stress comes from not only trying to remember how to change the clocks, but can also come from a change in sleep patterns.

“When we start pushing the clock around, we have issues for a couple of weeks afterwards until we get into that new rhythm,” said Zurowski.

Fire fighters are also reminding you that when you change the clocks to make sure you change the batteries in your smoke detectors and to test them to ensure they are working properly.
