With our first flurries under our belt, Haligonian’s are wondering what type of weather to expect over the looming holiday season.
“It looks like a pretty normal winter coming up so the temperatures will be getting a little bit cooler back to where they should be at this time of year,” said News 95.7’s Meteorologist Richard Zurowski, “We’re also going to be expecting normal snow fall amounts.”
Zurowski said we can expect normal temperatures and precipitation in through the central regions of Nova Scotia and Southern areas of New Brunswick,
Meanwhile he said the Eastern Shore and Southern parts of Nova Scotia can expect above normal temperatures and percipitation.
He said those flurries we saw over the weekend are an indication of the weather we will see move across our region in the next few days.
“We’re going to end up with a bit of a cold front moving through this afternoon and when it moves through we’ve got falling temperatures,” said Zurowski.
He said by this afternoon, we will likely see some scattered flurries.
