Man struck in crosswalk

A 22-year-old man was struck by a car in a crosswalk last night on Herring Cove Road.

Police say just after nine o’clock, the man was crossing the road near Sussex Street when he was hit.

He suffered no injuries.

The 68-year-old man driving the car has been issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
