Two men arrested in separate home searches

Halifax police have arrested two men after they searched two separate homes in Dartmouth.

Police say they seized drugs, guns and cash from a home on Gaston Road last night, and a 25-year-old man is due in court today to face drug and weapons charges.

Another search of a home on Primrose Street resulted in the seizure of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegal cigarettes.

In that case, a 55-year-old man has been released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
