Arrest made in Dartmouth pharmacy robbery

Halifax police have arrested a man in connection with a pharmacy robbery yesterday.

Police say around 5 o’clock yesterday, they stopped a vehicle that had no license plate and had three men inside.

An officer noticed that one of the passengers seemed to be intoxicated.

The man got out of the vehicle and removed his jacket, police noticed he matched the description of the suspect wanted in the Lawton’s Pharmacy robbery earlier in the day.

The 29-year-old is in custody and scheduled to appear in court this morning to face robbery and weapons related charges.
