Small increase expected at the pumps

Another stable week on the oil and gas markets means a very small increase in the price at the pump in Nova Scotia.
Our newsroom is predicting that when the UARB adjusts prices at midnight tonight they will rise by about a penny a litre.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 that the markets have been flat for the past few weeks.
“We’ve seen a little bit of an increase in the price of oil. We haven’t seen the price of gasoline on the markets increase by any substantial amount compared to the week before, or even the week previous to that,” explained Murphy.
Across the border in New Brunswick, prices fell overnight by 3-tenths of a cent to a new maximum price of $129.2.
