Another storm locks it’s sights on the Maritimes

More bad weather is on its way to Nova Scotia.

A low pressure system will be over the region late Sunday and into Monday bringing more precipitation.

“It looks like it’s going to be mostly rain in Halifax, in South Shore region, and maybe even the Eastern Shore.” said News 95.7 Meteorologist Richard Zurawski.  “Inland, however, and as we work into Moncton and Saint John it looks like periods of snow.”

“Rough snowfall amounts are in the 20 to 30 centimetre range.” said Zurawski.

Temperatures on Monday are expected to reach 5 C and then plummet into New Year’s Day.

“Daytime highs bill be between -10 C and -15 C New Year’s Day.” said Zurawski.
