Car crashes into Bedford condo window

A car smashed through a large window at a Bedford condo complex on Thursday morning.
Police say the 76-year-old woman driving a four-door sedan ran into trouble as she came out of the underground garage at 50 Nelsons Landing Blvd.
“As she was exiting the parking lot, she clipped another vehicle entering the underground parking lot,” said Halifax Regional Police Cst. Pierre Bourdages. “She then lost control, accelerated across the parking lot and collided with the building.”
The airbag deployed as the car made it half-way into the bedroom of a ground floor condo unit.
Paramedics took the driver to hospital but she appears uninjured.
A tow truck was brought in to pull the car out of the hole it punched in the wall.
No charges are being laid.
