Slight increase in gas prices

There was a small jump at the pump overnight.

The provincial regulator has moved the price per litre up by 5-tenths of a cent to a new minimum price of $130.9.

Those needing diesel are digging even deeper to fill the tank, diesel prices shot up by 3 cents at midnight and is now selling for $141.2.

A year ago drivers were paying $1.25 for gas and $1.33 for diesel.

Oil was selling on the markets at $95.45 U.S. a barrel which is a $1.25 more than yesterday’s closing price.
