Machete attack wounds three at Fredericton’s Eastern College

Police in Fredericton have one man in custody after two teachers and a student at Eastern College were injured with a machete-style knife.
Chief Leanne Fitch says a student had the man subdued on the floor when police arrived shortly before 8:30 a.m. today.
Fitch says the injuries range from minor to serious and one of the teachers is undergoing surgery, but none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
She says the suspect was also injured and is being treated in hospital.
The college has been closed for the rest of the day.
