Not much change in gas prices expected

There’s not much change expected to come to the gas pump in Nova Scotia tonight.
Our newsroom is predicting that prices will fall at midnight, but only by about a penny a litre.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 diesel fuel, along with home heating fuels will see a bigger jump this week, and the weather takes the blame.
“Everybody’s familiar I think with ‘polar vortex’. We’re getting into February, we’re getting close to the start of spring. It’s still about a month away or so until we get into March and those temperatures start to warm, but we’re really feeling it in our pocket book,” said Murphy.
Across the border New Brunswick gas prices are up by 2/10ths of a cent this morning to 132.6.
