RCMP cruiser hits stopped car in Fall River

An investigation is underway after an RCMP cruiser hit another car in Fall River this morning.
RCMP Corporal Scott Macrae told News 95.7 it happened at 7:44 a.m. on Celebration Drive.
“A marked police collided with a vehicle that was stopped on the roadway. The 29-year-old male driver was out of his vehicle at the time and as a result of the collision he was hit by his vehicle and knocked to the ground,” explained Macrae.
The man was treated by EHS at the scene and released.
The 32-year-old police officer was not injured.
Macrae said because the crash involved an officer, a supervisor is on scene to oversee the investigation.
