For the third consecutive week gas prices appear to be on their way down.
Our newsroom has crunched the numbers and we are predicting a drop of about a penny a litre.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 the drop is not much, but at least the prices are heading in the right direction.
“Well at least we’re seeing a bit of a fall of prices again this week,” said Murphy. “It’s very modest, but I think this is the third week in a row now that we’ve seen any kind of decrease.”
Across the border in New Brunswick, gasoline prices dropped by a half cent a litre to a new maximum price of $136.9.
