Gas prices drop overnight

Drivers are paying less to fill up their cars in Nova Scotia this morning.

The UARB has decided to lower the price of regular self-serve by 2.8 cents a litre, moving the price at the pumps down to $135.2.

There was also a drop in the price of diesel at midnight with the price for a litre of fuel dropping by 1.9 cents to $141.2.

One year ago, we were paying $1.35 for gas and $1.29 for diesel. Oil was trading at $92.45 U.S. a barrel, $6 less than yesterday’s closing price of $98.52.
