Fire in abandoned fish plant considered suspicious

FREEPORT, N.S. – Police say a fire that ravaged an abandoned fish plant in Freeport, N.S., is considered suspicious.
RCMP say when officers arrived at the burning building around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, it was completely engulfed in flames.
They say the building burned to the ground.
Police say because the structure did not have power and there were no threatening weather conditions, the fire has been deemed suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing.
