Poor visibility a factor in latest car/pedestrian collision

A pedestrian was hit by a car near the Halifax Common last night before at 10:20 p.m.

The driver was going south on Robie, turned left onto Bell Road and struck a 22-year-old man.

Police say they weren’t able to determine who had the right-of-way and charges have not been laid against either party.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, rain and poor visibility were a factor at the time.
