Gas prices expected to rise this week

The recent trend of weekly drops in gasoline prices is coming to an end.

Our newsroom is predicting that when prices are reset at midnight tonight they will increase by about 2 cents a litre.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7, a problem getting oil out of Libya is hurting the global supply.

There was a small drop in gasoline prices in New Brunswick, they dropped by 4/10ths of a cent at midnight moving the maximum price down to $136.2.
