An 18-year-old man has been arrested after gunshots rang out in North Preston last night.

RCMP Sgt. Mike Lidstone told News 95.7 it happened just before 9 p.m. on Clarence Street, but it’s not clear what sparked the incident.

“It’s unsure, it looks like he was firing in the direction of somebody he was having an issue with,” said Lidstone.

The man will be appearing in court later this morning where he’ll face a number of charges.

Lidstone said no one was injured in the incident and at this point police aren’t looking for any other suspects.
