Fuel pump failure affects Alderney ferry service

There is no ferry service on the Halifax-Dartmouth route this morning due to a fuel pump failure on the Halifax III.

The ferry is undergoing repairs and will hopefully be up and running in the next couple of hours.

Metro Transit has set up shuttles to get commuters across the harbour.

Bus shuttles on the Halifax side are running from the Water Street terminal, shuttles on the Dartmouth side are running from the route 54 stop southbound (Alderney).
