There will be no President Cup for the Halifax Mooseheads this year.

The Moose outshot Val-d’Or 41-16 in game 7, but came up short in the scoreboard.

Philippe Gadoury and Nikolaj Ehlers each had a goal and an assist for Halifax.

The Foreurs won 3-2 in front of a sell out crowd at the Metro Centre. They move on to face the Baie Comeau Drakkar in the Q League final.
