Gas prices are on their way down again in Nova Scotia.
Our newsroom is predicting the regulated minimum price for regular self-serve will fall by about 2 cents a litre at midnight tonight.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 drivers are not burning as much gasoline, and that is leading to an increase in supply.
“If we see a build in gas inventory, we know what we’re saying about price is correct, we know what we’re saying about conservation is correct,” said Murphy.
Gas prices across the border in New Brunswick dropped overnight by 1.9 cents a litre moving the maximum price down to $136.1.
