Another price drop at the pump expected at midnight

More relief is expected to be on the way for drivers in Nova Scotia.

Our newsroom has gone over the numbers and we are predicting that when prices are reset at midnight tonight, they will fall by about 2 cents a litre.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7, he expects the gasoline market to level off for the remainder of the summer.

“What you see pretty much right now, I believe is what you’re going to be getting during the rest of summer,” said Murphy.
“I don’t see any reason why prices will increase unless we see something further explode in the Middle East.”

in New Brunswick regulated prices fell by 1.2 cents per litre to a new maximum price of $136.2.
