Our gas-guess is good news today.
George Murphy with Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7, we’ll be seeing a drop of about 1.6 cents a liter when prices are set at midnight.
That’s unusual for this time of year when demand is usually up, but Murphy said fracking in the U.S. is actually boosting crude inventories.
“The availability of supply that’s out there, the increase in domestic production in the U.S. and everything, there’s all kinds of oil out there splashing around” said Murphy. “It’s like Madge with Palmolive, we’re soaking in it.”
Gas & diesel are cheaper in New Brunswick, New prices are $1.341 for gas and $1.356 for diesel.
