Drill taken from downtown construction site

Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in finding whoever stole a piece of heavy machinery from a construction site in the downtown core.

Police say crews working near the corner of Market and Sackville Streets discovered a hammer drill that attaches to a crane was missing, and it’s worth about $40,000.

It’s believed the hammer drill was taken sometime over the weekend.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
