Endangered moose killed by poachers

The province’s Department of Natural Resources is searching for poachers who killed an endangered mainland moose.
The DNR says the animal was removed from St. Croix in Hants County for its own protection.
Its remains were found near Highway 101 near Mount Uniacke.
Anyone with information is asked to call the province’s report-a-poacher line at 1-800, 565-2224.
